doing to help support globally-minded candidates.

 |
| Jan Marie Rushforth meets with endorsed candidate Joe Sestak, who is
challenging incumbent Representative Curt Weldon in Pennsylvania's 7th
District. Mr. Sestak, a retired Navy Vice-Admiral, is a strong,
globally-minded candidate who believes the U.S. must return to its
leadership role on issues such as health, the environment, and nuclear
nonproliferation. He also supports the U.S. cooperating with the
International Criminal Court as it investigates crimes committed in
Uganda, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Ms. Rushforth is a
longtime activist and a member of Citizens for Global Solutions'
nonpartisan Political Action Committee (Global Solutions PAC). |
|
 |
| Claire McCaskill, our endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate in
Missouri, meets with Ron Glossop, a member of Global Solutions PAC and
the head of our St. Louis chapter. She is running against incumbent Sen.
Jim Talent, who has consistently received poor grades on our
hill/reportcard/">Congressional
Report Card. Ms. McCaskill strongly supports working with allies and
institutions worldwide to address global health challenges, pressuring
U.S. leadership to address climate change, and working with the United
Nations on peacekeeping and other pressing concerns. |
|

|
| Bill Fisher meets with endorsed candidate Betty Sutton, who is
running to fill the open seat in Ohio's 13th Congressional District. Ms.
Sutton is a great candidate who believes in a cooperative U.S. foreign
policy that addresses global health, the environment, and international
justice. Bill is a longtime member of Citizens for Global Solutions and
its PAC committee. |

Marjorie and Floyd Ramp meet with newly endorsed candidate for U.S.
Senate Sherrod Brown. Currently a Representative in Ohio's 13th
district, Congressman Brown is running for Senate against incumbent
Senator Mike DeWine. Mr. Brown has long been a strong global leader,
having received
top
grades in Citizens for Global Solutions Congressional Report Card.
You can also view his responses
to our 2006 candidate questionnaire.
Marjorie is currently the Board Chair of Citizens for Global Solutions
and Floyd is a past Board Chair. Both of the Ramps lead our very
successful North East Ohio chapter, centered in Oberlin. |
